Details of our 11th Annual PLG Business Development Awards Evening are now here! The Medius Deal Watch team will once again start the afternoon off with their review and insights into the deal environment during 2017, with an outlook into 2018 and beyond. Andrew Dean will then present ‘Cheques & Drugs and Change of Control’, an interesting look at Divestment case histories.

We are delighted that Professor Paul-Peter Tak, Senior Vice President R&D Pipeline, Global Development Leader and Chief Immunology Officer at GSK has agreed to join us for the evening, with an after-dinner speech covering his vast industry experience and time presenting on Dutch TV! Dr Tak served as a Professor of Medicine and Chairman of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology at the Academic Medical Centre/University of Amsterdam (AMC) for 12 years and among many other roles also sits on the Innovation Board Steering Committee of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associates (EFPIA).

Finishing the evening in style will be the presentation of the PLG Business Development awards 2017. Prizes are available for AstraZeneca Business Development Executive of the Year and the PLG Best Business Development Newcomer of the Year.
