Workshop Details
Early stage deals between biotech or pharma companies and academic institutions have become much more common in recent years as the search for novel drugs intensifies. But there is no doubt that deals involving academic institutions need a tailored approach if the parties are to reach a successful agreement. This session will focus on some of the key issues which commonly arise in deals of this type. The speakers will compare and contrast the approaches taken by each side of the negotiation and will suggest what, in their view, a fair compromise could look like.
The event is free to PLG members, with a small charge of £40 to guests (which will be deducted from any future PLG membership fees).
In conjunction with this evening event the PLG will be holding the 2nd Early Stage Healthcare Business Development 1-day training course. The course will also take place at Golwing WLG from 9am on 15th December, the course will finish in time to allow attendees to attend the evening workshop and reception and at no charge. Full details on this course are available in our Training Section.
