We are well known for establishing productive partnerships with industry, along with major research successes such as our discovery of the prostate cancer drug abiraterone. We have more than 100 current partnerships ranging from small, specialised biotech and medtech firms to big pharma.

Join ICR Chief Executive Professor Paul Workman, Director of Enterprise Dr Angela Kukula, and ICR researchers and clinicians to learn more about our cutting-edge research, our culture of collaboration with industry, recent examples of our success and upcoming opportunities.

Hear about the benefits of cross-organisational working to both academia and industry in talks from Tony Jones, CEO of One Nucleus – the international life science and healthcare industry membership organisation, and from Tom Heightman, Head of Chemistry at Astex Pharmaceuticals.

Most importantly, the morning will provide an opportunity to start conversations about how we can mutually share expertise to progress the discovery and development of potential cancer drugs and technologies to improve the lives of cancer patients and their families.
