XIV International Pharmaceutical Licensing Symposium

Registered participants can now take advantage of the online partnering system available during this event. The online partnering system enables participants to contact and arrange appointments with all other registered participants at the event, with time for two partnering sessions forming part of the overall programme. Participants can access this system at Online Partnering System, using the username and password supplied by email.

We are delighted that Nigel Sheail, Global Head, Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Development & Licensing, Novartis, will deliver the keynote presentation to open the XIV IPLS on 20th September. Details of all speakers participating at the event can be found here; Full Speaker Details.

The XIV IPLS that will take place in the stunning surroundings of Montreux, Switzerland, starting in the afternoon of Wednesday 19th to Friday 21st September 2018. The event begins on 19th September with the opportunity to hold pre-arranged partnering meetings (an online partnering system is available to contact all participants and make appointments) prior to the evening networking reception held in Funky Claude’s Jazz Bar.

Montreux is a beautiful one hour and ten minute train journey direct from Geneva Airport, with fantastic scenery as the train skirts around the edge of Lake Geneva.

Participants now have the option of joining one of two additional training workshops being run in parallel to the one-to-one meeting time on Wednesday from 3pm-6pm. The 3-hour training workshops can be booked online at a cost of €100 per person, and will cover:

Transport

Train tickets for journeys direct from Geneva Airport to Monteux should be purchased in advance from the SBB website, www.sbb.ch/en, to take advantage of low ticket prices from CHF18 per journey.

Following the success of the online partnering system used during the 2017 event in Madrid, the programme will once again commence on Wednesday afternoon for pre-arranged one-to-one meetings prior the evening drinks reception overlooking Lake Geneva. Partnering and networking will be ongoing throughout the event, with a managed and dedicated one-to-one meeting room available, with extended breaks and a gala dinner on Thursday evening.

The programme will feature 5 sessions, including  Deal Case Studies from across the industry (Medical Devices, Biotech, Big Pharma), Regulatory Updates, Opportunities and Market Entry in China, plus the regular look at the Deal Landscape including views and analysis from Evaluate.
