EMIG & PLG are delighted to announce a new joint initiative.

In 2025 we are launching a new regular event called the Learned Lunch.

This will take the form of a networking lunch followed by a professional development session focusing on the principles of business development. 

The lunches will cycle quarterly between Oxford, London & Cambridge. The educational sessions aim to inform on elements of deal making and will cover topics such as Alliance management, Valuation, Legal Terms, Financial modelling, Licensing, M&A etc

Our inaugural meeting will be held at Weston Manor on the 8^th May 2025

Our guest speaker will be Sarah Hanson, Managing Partner of Interactifs

Her session "How the words you use speak volumes"

Will examine how people are perceived in both their written and spoken communication:

• the sway and influence they have
• the impact they make, 
• the impression they give and 
• the respect they earn.

These are crucial skills to master in business development negotiations from the very start of a relationship to managing a long term partnership.
