Membership of the Pharmaceutical Licensing Group (PLG) is open to individuals based in the UK (affiliate non-UK based members are welcome) who is actively involved in business development, licensing, the transfer of intellectual property or technology, or the wider deal-making process within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare industry. All membership applications are reviewed by the Board once a new membership application is received.
Open to individuals based in the UK actively involved in business development, licensing, the transfer of intellectual property or technology, or the wider deal-making process;
and
an employee of a university, non-profit organisation (please see below for reduced membership rate), pharmaceutical or biotechnology company or small or medium size enterprise whose business comprises the discovery, development or commercialisation of molecules or technologies with a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare application and which may ultimately be partnered
or
a professional services firm whose business comprises the provision of legal or intellectual property advice to organisations within the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or healthcare industry.
Fees from July 2024
£295 per year for 1 individual
£525 per year for 2 members from same company
£780 per year for 3 members from same company
This option is open to those employed by academic institutions and not-for-profit organisations that meet the individual membership criteria as above.
Fee – £140 per year
Corporate membership allows a company to register an unlimited number of members, although all members must meet the individual membership criteria (as above) and complete an application form.
Fee – £1,025 per year
Corporate membership allows an academic institution or not-for-profit company to register an unlimited number of members, although all members must meet the individual membership criteria (as above) and complete an application form.
Fee – £475 per year
